Speech: German, English

The increasing use of large container vessels of the 20,000 TEU + class in intercontinental container transport has a growing influence on the structure of container volume and the performance of the European seaports. Which challenges result from this for the inland terminals and the development of volume and transport capacities of hinterland transport by truck, rail and barge? Following four lectures, a panel dicussion with the speakers and the audience will exchange the various positions and discuss the actual situation of intermodal transport in Europe and digital solutions for more efficiency.
