Lecture Description
Logistics takes place across borders and connects national economies. For some years now, the renaissance of nationalism and protectionism seems to be calling globalization into question. With the war of aggression on Ukraine and further geopolitical tensions, the question of resilient supply chains is particularly pressing. How will the renewed bloc formation in the world affect supply chains? What is the significance of political tensions for shaping international trade and thus sourcing strategies? The panelists will discuss these and other questions with a view to what impact can be expected on supply chains and what measures need to be taken.
