Lecture Description

Several mega-trends are leading to the creation of new supply chains both in Europe and the US. This is triggered by political initiatives such as the CHIPS act and the Inflation Reduction Act, by reshoring of manufacturing from Asia and by the emergence of new carbon free technologies. Building and managing the emerging supply chains requires strategic decisions that need to be underpinned by tools and analysis. The crisp 15 minute presentation will give an overview of supply chain planning tools for logistics and manufacturing that are necessary to build better supply chains and to improve the management of existing supply chains.
